cases were reported completely locked down as authorities undertook extraordinary measures to check the spread of the disease.

As India’a tally reached 396, with seven deaths, Delhi announced a complete

lockdown

Cases so far

– 15 more cases reported in Kerala

– Six new cases reported in Karnataka, tally rises to 26

– Cases in Punjab rise to 21

– Bihar reports first death; another woman tests positive

Nationwide

– Lockdown in districts from states including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala

– All train services suspended till March 31, including sub-urban rail services. Goods trains are exempted

– All metro rail services were also suspended till March 31

– 60 private labs have registered so far to conduct tests

Delhi

– IGI Airport to remain open for domestic flights

– Six locally transmitted coronavirus cases reported in Delhi

– Supreme Court’s two courts will work through video-conferencing tomorrow

– No public transport services including private buses, taxis, autos permitted. Only DTC buses to operate at 25%

– All shops, factories, offices, commercial establishments to remain shut

– Motorable and unmotorable borders of NCT of Delhi with Haryana and UP to be sealed

– Movement of interstate buses/trains/DMRC shall be suspended

– All religious places to be closed

– People who come out to provide essential services shall be allowed on self- declaration

– Any congregation of more than 5 persons is strictly punishable as per law

– Prohibitory orders imposed till Mar 31; Protests and other gatherings banned

Uttar Pradesh

– Lucknow, Varanasi and Kanpur, to be under lockdown from Monday till Wednesday in first phase

– Metro Rail services in Lucknow to remain suspended till March 31

– 11 who attended Kanika Kapoor’s party in Kanpur test negative

Maharashtra

– No international flights to be allowed to land in Mumbai

– Private hospitals to postpone non-emergency services and prepare isolation wards

Chandigarh

– Lockdown with effect from midnight on March 23 to 11 pm on March 31

Kerala

– No shutdown in the most districts; Additional restrictions introduced in Kasaragod

Andhra Pradesh

– CM announces free ration to poor and Rs 1000 per family

Goa

– State government has extended the Janata Curfew by three more days

West Bengal
