A few days ago, a clipping from one of the episodes’ of
went viral on social media. The video had gang leader
yelling at a contestant for saying that he slapped his girlfriend because she was cheating on him with five other boys.
, too, hurled an expletive at that boy from the show and they were at the receiving end of the troll.
Now that the citizens have been asked to be under lockdown due to the spread of
pandemic, Nikhil utilised the time to explain the entire incident in a better way and put forth his view. There were three slides in which he put forth his view and supported Neha Dhupia. His caption to this post reads: “Now that I’m home and I’ve got a little more time on my hands, I’ve put down my perspective surrounding the events of an episode that aired a few weeks ago. I’ve muted comments here so that those that are concerned with the contents of the note may read it at ease. For those wishing to comment / let off some steam, comments are open on my previous posts, as they’ve always been.”
Nikhil stated that he turned off the comment section for this post but the ones who wanted to post anything could do it in his previous post. The gang leader also spoke about women empowerment. Nikhil stated that he is not faking it up on the show and that he is such a person, who uses expletives in real life too. He said that maybe he will try and feed some better words in his vocabulary now.
When Neha Dhupia got trolled, many bigwigs like Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, her husband Angad Bedi, Nikhil Chinapa and many others came out to support her.
